Isack Hadjar suffered a scary crash in the opening minutes of qualifying at this weekend's United States Grand Prix, before punching himself repeatedly in the cockpit.
Just three minutes into the first part of qualifying at the Circuit of the Americas, Hadjar crashed heavily at the high-speed Turn 6.
It resulted in an immediate red flag due to significant debris, with Hadjar's Racing Bulls having sustained major damage.
The medical car was deployed due to the size of the crash and the G-force experienced by the rookie in the accident.
Following the crash, Hadjar punched himself repeatedly in his cockpit, venting his frustration to have found the barrier.
The crash ended Hadjar's run of being the only driver on the grid without a Q1 exit in their career.
