Formula 1 and the FIA have released the COVID-19 testing figures for the week of the Bahrain Grand Prix. With full testing procedures in place for each and every Grand Prix, the figures are released for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency. Between March 22 and March 28, 8,150 tests were carried out on Formula 1 and affiliated personnel required in the paddock. Out of these, 12 people tested positive for COVID-19. They will now be in isolation, with teams also obliged to observe procedure with regards to isolation and quarantine for staff who may have been in contact. The FIA are not obliged to release the names of those who have tested positive, and there were no high-profile names absent from the Bahrain Grand Prix paddock.
