Friday at the Dutch Grand Prix felt like four seasons in one day with Free Practice 1 being held in terrible conditions as a storm hit the Dutch coast.

Fortunately, conditions improved somewhat for FP2 in the afternoon by the North Sea, but the strong winds and heavy rain are set to return for Saturday's action.

There is currently significant cloud cover at the coastal circuit, with rain possible, although it expected to improve somewhat through the morning.

However, in the afternoon for a planned qualifying start time of 3pm local, 2pm UK, the threat of heavy rain showers increases, with the potential for thunderstorms.

The air temperature is expected to be around 23 degrees, with the winds originally set to come from the South - a tail-wind through the banked final corner and down the pit-straight, before turning to come from the west, blowing in off the North Sea for a cross-wind along the main-straight.
