Dutch GP weather update: Is more rain set to fall?

After rain disrupted Saturday's running at Zandvoort, what does the weather have in store for the Dutch Grand Prix?

After heavy rain showers fell during Saturday's running at Zandvoort, Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix also looks likely to be run in at least partly wet conditions. According to our friends at Weeronline.nl , showers are expected at Zandvoort during the morning and early afternoon. By the time the Dutch Grand Prix gets underway at 15:00 local time, any rain is likely to have subsisded, but the track may still be damp from previous downpours, meaning drivers may elect to start the race on Intermediate tyres. As on Saturday, it is also possible that rain showers may arrive during the race, causing an extra headache for teams as they work out which tyres to use and when to make any changes. Additionally, with temperatures likely not to go beyond 19 degrees Celsius, the Zandvoort circuit may take longer to dry out than it would in warmer conditions, potentially making it a challenge for drivers to get their tyres into their optimum operating window. Situated on the coast, Zandvoort is a perenially windy place, and moderate westerly gusts are expected throughout the day. Who will win the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix?
