Max Verstappen has shown off his new 2022 helmet design, having made changes to mark his first F1 World Drivers' Championship.
The updated design is primarily white with gold detailing, a striking combination as Verstappen took to social media to proudly display the helmet he will race with this season.
"I decided not to change the design a lot, but change the colours a little bit," Verstappen said.
"Instead of the red you could see before, it's now basically fully gold everywhere.
"I asked for the little star on the back for the championship win. Tiny upgrades, but the gold makes it a little bit cooler!"
