Pirelli has created special Ayrton Senna-inspired podium caps and pole position award for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, 30 years on from his death.

Celebrations and tributes of Senna's life have taken place throughout 2024, with May 1st marking 30 years since the three-time world champion was killed whilst leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix for Williams.

McLaren, the team he won all three of his world titles for, ran a 'Senna livery' in Monaco - the track the Brazilian holds the record at for most wins with six.

Senna won the Brazilian GP twice in his career, in 1991 in the famous race his car became stuck in sixth gear, and again in 1993.

To celebrate, Pirelli has opted for to make the podium caps the Brazilian national colours, featuring the Senna logo, with the pole position award for the grand prix set to be auctioned off, in conjunction with the Senna Institute.
