McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has claimed the FIA is investigating the possibility of making a rule change following its double disqualification in Las Vegas.

Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified from the race after their skid blocks were found to be excessively worn.

Max Verstappen hands McLaren clear team orders stance: 'They can f-off'

Max Verstappen has labelled McLaren's decision not to impose team orders on Oscar Piastri as "perfect," as he explained why he would have told a team to "f-off" in a similar situation.

Following the double disqualification of Lando Norris and Piastri from the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Verstappen has roared into the F1 title fight and is now just 24 points behind Norris in the standings, as opposed to 42 prior to the expunging of McLaren's result.

Carlos Sainz proposes TV pundits idea in FIA incident review shake-up

Carlos Sainz has proposed an idea to shake-up how the FIA stewards review incidents, having seen how various TV broadcasters analyse incidents to their viewers.

A meeting between all 20 F1 drivers and the FIA took place ahead of this weekend's Qatar Grand Prix following the conclusion of media day at the Lusail International Circuit.

Lewis Hamilton makes firm ‘no regrets’ declaration after ‘nightmare’ Ferrari season

Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he has "no regrets" about joining Ferrari despite his "nightmare" first season with the team.

In Las Vegas last time out, for the first time in his career, Hamilton suffered the ignominy of qualifying slowest of all on pure pace, and ultimately recovered to 10th on the road, before being promoted to eighth following the disqualification of the McLarens.

Oscar Piastri reveals McLaren 'discussion' to help Lando Norris in F1 title fight

Oscar Piastri has stated McLaren held a “very brief discussion” about implementing team orders in the title fight following the team's double disqualification in Las Vegas.

Piastri ended the Las Vegas race in fourth place but his car was quickly flagged for a potential technical infringement, as was team-mate Lando Norris', who ended the grand prix in second.

Lando Norris reveals 'expectation' of shock McLaren disqualification

Lando Norris has explained how his disqualification from the Las Vegas Grand Prix was "expected" and not a "complete shock."

After finishing second on the road, Norris, along with team-mate Oscar Piastri was expunged from the results after both MCL39s failed post-race scrutineering, with both machines carrying too much plank wear, both exceeding the 1mm tolerance and dipping below the 9mm allowance.
