Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff has revealed one thing he would change about the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The event had a lukewarm reception among those in Formula 1, with some praising Liberty Media for taking it to the next level while Max Verstappen was vocal about his thoughts on the event as a whole.

Many of the sessions took place late at night, with qualifying starting at 12am local time and the race starting later that day at 10pm.

Wolff believes this is something that should be looked at for the future, as it was one of the main concerns by teams.

"It's logistics, how do you manage the traffic situation in Las Vegas?" Wolff told media, including RacingNews365.

"If we can look at the detail of the timing, may be [we can have] qualifying a little bit earlier. But you know, that's a detail the whole thing was great."

Wolff: Las Vegas event 'ticked all the boxes'

Much of it stemmed from the delays to on-track action on Thursday, when a loose drain cover cut short FP1 after just nine minutes. This meant FP2 did not start until two and a half hours after it was scheduled as repairs were carried out around the track.

Once on track action occurred, fans were thrown out of the stands due to lack of staff meaning they only saw nine minutes of action.

Wolff himself went into a diatribe over the situation in the press conference, but believes the event itself was still a success on the whole.

"The drain cover was nothing. When you look back to Sunday [it was a] spectacular race, great audiences, a mega, mega event," said Wolff.

"I think some good racing at the front. The inaugural Las Vegas race ticked all the boxes."
