Red Bull has partnered with Max Verstappen's esports team, Team Redline, on a multi-year deal under the new 'Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing' banner.

Team Redline and Red Bull Sim Racing will remain autonomous entites, with the former presiding over the performance management of Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing, ahead of this year's Formula 1 Esports Series Pro Championship.

Although Verstappen has been busy on F1 weekends, the Dutchman has still made appearances in races for Team Redline including the Virtual Le Mans 24 Hours, 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and the 500 Miles of Sebring.

As part of the deal dedicated Red Bull Sim Racing performance facility will also be built at Team Redline HQ, with the teams current driver lineup also being retained.

'Logical step' for Team Redline

Having previously worked with Verstappen and achieved success, Team Redline believes the partnership with Red Bull is only the natural progression.

Director of Team Redline, Atze Kerkhof, said: "This is an exciting new challenge for the Team, having already built a good relationship with Red Bull under Verstappen.com Racing – this seemed like the logical next step for us to collaboratively take.

"Team Redline is excited for this new challenge and is looking forward to getting to work."

Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing Team Esports Lead, Joe Soltysik, added: “This partnership marks an ambitious positive step on our journey to win back our Team title in F1 Esports.

"Since the creation of our sim racing Team in 2018, we have been committed to being the best competitors on the grid and constantly looking for ways to improve our performance.

"Partnering up with one of the most successful teams in sim racing history is an opportunity we are delighted to have taken and I am incredibly excited about the potential of what we can achieve together.”
