F1 fans are split when it comes to the future of Lewis Hamilton following a disastrous first season with Ferrari.

Hamilton labelled the season as the most difficult he has endured during his near two-decade term in the sport.

For the first time in his career, Hamilton ended the season without a single visit to the podium.

The seven-time champion's comments and low demeanour in the latter stages of the year prompted RacingNews365 to ask you, the fans, to ask if you thought Hamilton should walk away from the sport.

One quarter of people believe he should not return for 2026, while another quarter think he should keep going until he seals a record-breaking eighth F1 title.

The third most popular option backed Hamilton to stay in the sport as he has “a few more seasons left in him”.

The final 18 per cent of votes were cast in favour of Hamilton retiring at the end of 2026.
