A major flood warning has been issued for Las Vegas ahead of this weekend's Formula 1 grand prix.
According to the National Weather Service, Sin City is part of the area affected by flood warnings after heavy rainfall.
Thunderstorms are also a possibility in the vicinity, with the warnings set to be in place until Wednesday morning local time, with the weekend set to kick off with media day on Wednesday evening local time.
As for the grand prix on-track action, there is currently a 30% chance of showers heading into Free Practice 1, scheduled for 16:30 local time, but the rest of the on-track running should be free of rain as Lando Norris looks to further cement his points lead at the top of the standings.
Norris is 24 points ahead of team-mate Oscar Piastri, meaning, with 58 left on the table after the weekend, Norris cannot leave Las Vegas as world champion, with the maximum lead he can enjoy being 49.
