The Las Vegas Grand Prix marks round 22 of the F1 campaign and is the third time the sport will visit the Strip Circuit.
The current Las Vegas venue appeared on the F1 calendar for the first time in 2023 and currently has a long-term deal in place with the sport.
Its Thursday to Saturday format differs from the usual Friday to Sunday schedule that is present at most other grand prix weekends - however with the race getting underway at 20:00 local time, it is the joint-latest race start time of the year alongside Saudi Arabia.
But the weather conditions in Las Vegas differ greatly from other events, with cold temperatures anticipated throughout the event.
FP1 and FP2 will take place on Thursday evening, and while the first practice session is set to take place in dry conditions, the chance of rain will increase for the second outing.
Temperatures will range between 12°C and 14°C during the day, with the risk of rain sitting at 40 per cent for the afternoon with a mild southeasterly wind.
On Friday, there is a significant chance of showers in the afternoon, however there is no expected rainfall for when the on-track sessions get underway.
Nevertheless, the cold track temperatures are set to continue to play a role and pose a challenge to the drivers to get their tyres into the right working window, with 12°C expected for qualifying.
The wind will completely change direction compared to the previous day, with the forecast suggesting the presence of a light northwesterly breeze.
Sunday's grand prix is due to be held in dry conditions, with a forecast of 14°C expected at the start of the race while the wind is set to remain blowing from a northwesterly direction.
Lando Norris enters the weekend with a 24-point lead over Oscar Piastri in the drivers' championship.
