With the first day of F1 pre-season testing complete, Red Bull's Max Verstappen set the fastest lap of the day in Bahrain.
The Dutchman's afternoon time of 1:32.837 set the early pace at the Bahrain International Circuit, with Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso almost edging ahead in the closing stages of the session.
With 19 drivers taking to the track on a busy opening day with minimal incidents, there were many satisfied competitors who racked up big mileage.
