Zhou Guanyu ended Day 2 of pre-season Formula 1 testing in Bahrain fastest after a late glory run knocked Max Verstappen off top spot.
A late effort of 1:31.610s from the Alfa Romeo driver pipped the World Champion to P1 by just 0.040s on a day Verstappen lost track time to a suspected oil leak on the RB19.
George Russell also lost a chunk of time after a Mercedes hydraulic failure on a difficult day for the team, with Zhou breaking down late on after attempting a practice start at the end of the pit-lane.
17 drivers took to the track, including Sergio Perez for the first time in the test.
