Lando Norris converted pole position into victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, as home hero Charles Leclerc had to settle for second.

Leclerc crossed the line just a few tenths adrift of Norris, whilst championship leader Oscar Piastri completed the top three. Less than 1.5s split the lead trio.

Max Verstappen had to settle for fourth after waiting until the penultimate lap to make his second mandatory pit-stop, with Lewis Hamilton completing the top five.

For the first time since 2021, a safety car was not required at the Circuit de Monaco, although Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly both retired.
