The fact that esports Team Redline kicked off the Real Racers Never Quit competition last week with a race on the Road Course of Daytona International Speedway was no coincidence.
It provided the necessary training mileage with an eye toward this weekend's iRacing 24 Hours of Daytona. Max Verstappen will be back in action with this team this weekend, sharing a car with Diogo Pinto and Sebastian Job.
In the past, Verstappen has competed in this major 24-hour sim racing event before, so there is no shortage of experience. The platform is iRacing and not rFactor 2, which he blasted in last year's 24 Hours of Le Mans due to connection failures.
