Charles Leclerc has denied he has concerns over Lewis Hamilton's motivation following his difficult opening campaign with Ferrari.

The seven-time champion made the switch from Mercedes at the start of the year as he looked to commence a new career chapter.

However, Hamilton struggled for form throughout the year and failed to secure a single podium result across the entire campaign.

During the final rounds of the season, Hamilton voiced his desire to switch off from F1 as his poor results mounted.

However, Leclerc has insisted that the entire team will be ready to hit the track in high spirits early next year.

“I think Lewis has always been extremely motivated,” Leclerc told media including RacingNews365.

“It’s been a tough end of the season for Lewis, but [also] for the team in general.

“The car has been tougher and tougher to drive. But I'm sure we'll all be back next year.”

Ferrari entered the year hoping to mount a challenge for the championship, having narrowly missed out on the constructors' title in 2024.

However, it could not bring home one grand prix victory, marking a torrid year for the Italian squad.

When asked if it is the most challenging season he has endured yet with Ferrari, Leclerc said: “It’s tough  - whether it's the toughest or not, I don't know.

“I tend to forget those negative emotions as quickly as possible.

“I don’t know if it’s the worst one, but for sure it’s the most disappointing one.”
