Logan Sargeant has picked out his preferred venue if F1 made the brave move of adding a fourth US event to the calendar.

Sargeant will be carrying the hopes of the United States in his rookie season, and will contest in three 'home' grands prix, in Miami, Texas and Las Vegas.

Formula 1 has already divided opinions on the decision to run a season with three US venues, along with the choice of leaning towards more street circuits.

The newly-appointed Williams driver was asked which US location he would like to see added to the F1 calendar, and was pitched a street circuit in New York and Laguna Seca.

"Why not two more? No I'm kidding!" Sargeant replied to media, including RacingNews365.com.

"Watkins Glen has always been one of my favourites, so I'd prefer that over Laguna Seca, but you can't count out a city race in New York either.

"It's between Watkins Glen or a street track in New York."
