As always in any F1 season, there were several memorable grands prix.

In what way you measure memorable is subjective, of course. At RacingNews365, we feel a race stands out by virtue of there being good racing, along with a sprinkling of incidents throughout to enliven proceedings.

So, we have picked what we feel to be the five best from the record-equalling 24 throughout the campaign. As a refresher, we have provided a very brief description that might help you decide.

Alternatively, you could click the 'Other' option, but please do provide us with your thoughts in the 'Comments' section as to which race stood out for you over and above those pre-selected.

Happy polling, and have a very merry Christmas!

Australian - In changeable conditions, Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar crashed on the formation lap, followed by Williams' Carlos Sainz and Jack Doohan for Alpine on the opening lap; other accidents occurred later in the race for Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto and Liam Lawson for Racing Bulls, leading to three safety car periods overall. Lando Norris won, but not without a late race, off-track scare, whilst McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri also slid off into the grass whilst running second. In front of his home fans, he just managed to avoid getting bogged down, going on to finish ninth.

Spanish - A McLaren one-two in qualifying, spearheaded by Piastri, led to the same at the flag, but it was not without drama along the way as a Verstappen three-stop plan went head-to-head with a two-stopper for the McLarens. Verstappen, though, was heavily compromised by a safety car with 11 laps remaining. Red Bull bizarrely switched him from his final stint softs to a set of hards, leaving him a sitting duck for those who had taken on softs. His anger at the move led to his controversial collision with Mercedes' George Russell that sparked a 10-second penalty, dropping him from fifth to 10th at the chequered flag.

Canadian - After the top five, spearheaded by polesitter in Mercedes' George Russell, had all completed their second pit stops after 53 laps, they were separated by just eight seconds, sparking a race to the line for victory. That was until lap 66 when Norris went for a gap that did not exist on Piastri, running into the back of the Australian, and crashing into the pit wall, sparking a safety car, behind which the race ultimately finished due to insufficient time to clear the debris. Russell took the win, with Verstappen second, whilst the Briton's team-mate, Kimi Antonelli, claimed his maiden podium in his rookie season.

British - Pole for Verstappen ahead of the McLarens but rain on grand prix day led to chaos at the start as five drivers pitted for slicks at the end of the formation lap after starting on inters. There were two VSC periods inside the first five laps for crashes involving Lawson and Bortoleto. Two safety cars followed soon after, one for poor conditions, the other when Hadjar ran into the back of Antonelli. Piastri was given a 10-second time penalty for 'erratic braking' behind the safety car, which he served later in the race, costing him the victory behind Norris. Nico Hülkenberg was an emotional third, scoring his first podium on his 239th start, setting a new record.

Dutch - A shocker of a grand prix for Ferrari as Lewis Hamilton first crashed out of the banked hairpin on lap 22, followed by team-mate Charles Leclerc 30 laps later in the same spot after a collision with Russell. Williams' Carlos Sainz and Lawson also came to blows during a race, which saw Piastri control it from start to finish ahead of Norris, who was on course for a comfortable second before a late, and rare, retirement suddenly pitched him 34 points adrift in the drivers' championship. On home soil, Verstappen was second, but dropped to 104 points down, whilst Norris' retirement allowed Hadjar to claim his maiden podium.
