After presenting their new car to the world on Wednesday, Aston Martin ran the AMR21 for the first time during a filming day at Silverstone on Thursday. Both Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll were on hand for the event as the team continue their preparations ahead of the start of the 2021 Formula 1 season, which begins in Bahrain on March 28. "Today, drivers Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel both drove the AMR21, sharing the allocated 100km of running on Pirelli demo tyres," read a statement on the Aston Martin website. "Next up for the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1 Team is testing in Bahrain on March 12-14, before Aston Martin makes its long-awaited return to the Formula 1 World Championship grid in the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28."
