Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen continue to top F1's penalty point rankings after the 2024 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, with the world champion picking up a seventh point on his licence.

Verstappen was one of three drivers to pick up penalty points in Sao Paulo, with the Red Bull driver picking up the sanction as a result of dropping under the virtual safety car time delta in the sprint race as he tried to attack Oscar Piastri.

The five-second time penalty dropped him from third to fourth, as he later went onto claim an extraordinary win in the grand prix.

In the race itself, both Oscar Piastri and Ollie Bearman picked up two points apiece for collisions with Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto, respectively.

This list will next be updated after the 2024 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend.

The full list of 2024 F1 driver penalty points and when they are next scrubbed from a driver's licence is available below.

The table also includes former F1 drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Logan Sargeant, who both have penalty points outstanding.
