After an emphatic victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, Max Verstappen extends his lead at the top of the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship.

The Dutchman scored 25 points and extends his lead up front, after teammate Sergio Perez finished outside the points in P16. Red Bull are also 129 points ahead of Aston Martin in the Constructors' Championship.

Fernando Alonso also closes the gap to Perez with his second place, with just 12 points now between them, while Esteban Ocon finished in third for a valuable podium for Alpine.
