Cadillac has announced the signing of Zhou Guanyu, with the 26-year-old joining as a reserve driver for F1’s newest outfit.

Zhou’s move to Cadillac comes just a couple of days after his exit from Ferrari was confirmed by the Scuderia, having served as its reserve driver last season.

Former Haas F1 team principal Guenther Steiner believes Oliver Bearman is the "obvious candidate" for Ferrari should Lewis Hamilton retire this year.

Bearman joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2021 and has emerged as its clear star of the future. Despite having already gained F1 experience with both Ferrari and Haas, the 20-year-old enjoyed a strong maiden campaign last season.

Sergio Perez has addressed his time racing for Red Bull and the constant complaints he received, saying that "everything was a problem."

Isack Hadjar has insisted signing for Red Bull is not an "achievement", instead arguing he must perform at the six-time F1 constructors' champions to have accomplished anything.

Williams stun F1 world with distinctive 'walrus nose' concept

On this day 22 years ago, Formula 1 witnessed one of its most audacious design gambles when Williams unveiled the radical FW26.
