Haas has announced that Kevin Magnussen will leave the team at the end of the 2024 F1 season.
The Dane, who has driven for the team between 2017-2020 and again from 2022 will leave after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in what is expected to be his final season in grand prix racing.
Haas recently confirmed that it would be handing Ferrari protege Oliver Bearman his full-time F1 debut in 2025, with Alpine outcast Esteban Ocon tipped to be heading to the team to be his team-mate in an all-new '25 line-up.
Magnussen's current team-mate Nico Hulkenberg has already been announced as moving to Stake in preparation for Audi's arrival in '26.
The Danish driver rejoined Haas at the start of the 2022 season after Nikita Mazepin was sacked on the eve of the new season after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, scoring fifth place on his return in Bahrain, having initially left at the end of the '20 season.
As of the 2024 British Grand Prix, Magnussen is the most experienced Haas driver with 135 race starts, out of a career total of 175.

As the driver market continues to swirl, Magnussen's name is not one that has been linked with any of the remaining seats, with it becoming increasingly clear that his ninth full F1 season would be his last, something he appeared at peace with.
The former McLaren and Renault racer has one podium finish on his record, coming on his debut at the 2014 Australian GP, finishing second after original P2 finisher Daniel Ricciardo was disqualified for a technical infringement.
Since then, Magnussen's best result has been a trio of fifth-place finishes, and he sits in 16th in the 2024 standings on five points heading into the Hungarian GP.
Reflecting on the decision to leave the team, Magnussen paid tribute to team owner Gene Haas.
"I’d like to extend my thanks to everyone at Haas F1 Team – I’m proud to have raced for such a great team of people these last few years," he said.
"In particular, I’d like to thank Gene Haas for his commitment to me, notably in bringing me back once again in 2022 when I thought, at that time at least, my time in Formula 1 had ended.
"I’ve enjoyed some great moments with this team – memories I’ll never forget.
"While I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my racing career, I remain fully focused on giving everything I’ve got for the rest of 2024 with Haas F1 Team."
