Luke’s passion for Formula 1 started at a young age when he became engrossed with the legendary ‘Schumacher vs Hakkinen’ era of the sport. The young F1 fan collected every kind of model car, book, video and game available.

His own attempts at motor racing were met with budgetary (and talent) issues and never progressed beyond karting, but his desire for competition has continued and he enjoys competing against friends in karting events whenever possible. A fan of online racing, Luke’s desire for competition now mostly takes place on the virtual platforms.

With a keen interest in all things technical, Luke is happiest exploring the latest regulatory loopholes and discussing which team has pushed the boundaries of performance.

A fan of the underdog stories, Luke is always looking for the unsung heroes and the lesser-known F1 stars finally having their day in the sun.

Originally from a mechanical engineering background, Luke’s passion for Formula 1 and motorsport media developed behind the scenes, eventually leading to writing for established F1 news websites and joining the RacingNews365 editorial team in May 2022.
