In the end, it was a maximum haul of points for Max Verstappen across the Formula 1 Sprint weekend at the Austrian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver was on course to miss the fastest lap in Spielberg but a late pitstop and banzai lap on the final tour allowed him to open up a 80 point over Sergio Perez in the standings after Round 9 of the 2023 season.
It's the second time he has taken five straight wins after the French to Italian Grands Prix last season.
Behind him Charles Leclerc was second with Perez third as he cemented his second place in the standings.
Elsewhere, Mercedes improved their hold on second in the Constructors' on an otherwise poor day for the team.
