A number of drivers have been issued with penalties after a review of track limits infringements by the stewards.

After seven drivers were issued with time penalties in-race and 83 times were deleted for exceeding track limits, a further 12 penalties have been issued post-race for drivers deemed to have "left the track without a justifiable reason multiple times."

Four infringements receive a five second time penalty, while five infringements receive a 10 second time penalty. The stewards explained: "Then a 'reset' has been allowed due to excessive number of infringements. The counting of infringements restarts. After another four infringements, a five second time penalty will apply; after five, a 10 second penalty."

These penalties were added on to each drivers elapsed race time, with an updated finishing order to follow.
