Max Verstappen has indicated he would like to emulate Valentino Rossi's switch to GT Racing when he retires from F1.
The Dutchman secured his third Drivers' title at the Qatar Grand Prix, with a 14th victory from 17 races this term enough to move one win away from the record amount for one campaign set last year.
Verstappen is contracted with Red Bull through to the end of 2028 and has indicated he is unlikely to extend his stay in the sport to the lengths of rivals Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso - both of whom will retire well into their 40s.
Motorcycling legend Rossi made the switch from two wheels to four at the end of 2021 and now races in the GT World Challenge Europe, driving for Team WRT.

Asked if he would still be seen on the race track in 10 years' time, Verstappen told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Less... I will race longer, but not in Grand Prix.
"It would be nice to do like Valentino Rossi, I like to see his races in GT, a category I have an interest in because we have our own car entered.
"He did everything he could in MotoGP, with a crazy career, and now he's having fun, while still working hard and wanting to win again.
"I think I will look for something similar in the future."
