Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes Max Verstappen will need to be considered amongst the greatest F1 drivers of all-time, once he claims his fourth F1 drivers' title.
Following his remarkable recovery from 17th on the grid to win the São Paulo Grand Prix, Verstappen now has a 62-point advantage over Lando Norris.
As a result, the Dutchman will secure his fourth consecutive crown in Las Vegas, should he either finish ahead of Norris or score no fewer than three points less.
Horner recognised that a significant step was taken towards Verstappen defending his crown in Brazil.
When asked if Verstappen by Talksport if Verstappen has been special for F1, Horner replied: "Yeah, absolutely.
"If he goes on to achieve that fourth title, which hopefully he's taken a big step to now, then you have to start considering him amongst some of the greats in the sport.
"I think he's driving at such an incredible level as he's continually demonstrated. He's great to work with when you put him in the car, he gives you everything.
"And he's still got that hunger and passion, that's great to witness."

Verstappen's recovery drive at a soaked Interlagos was one of the greatest performances in F1 history, with not a single error having been made.
Whilst most went off the circuit at least once, the 27-year-old always remained within the white lines.
What Verstappen did was so remarkable, that the Red Bull boss compared it to Ayrton Senna's 'Lap of the Gods' at Donington Park in 1993.
"I think that that was one of his best ever drives," added Horner. "To go from 17th in those conditions to winning the grand prix was exceptional.
"So right up there with his very best, right up there. When you talk about some of the great drives we've seen over the years from some of the big names, sort of Senna Donnington '93 springs to mind. That, in my mind, was right up there."
