No, it turns less like a Sport and more like a Quiz Show that always offers double money at the end of the final round. I think the points system is fine as it is, and with so many issues with the stewarding of the sport at the moment I think there are bigger things that are ruining the sport than seeing someone crowned champion before the final race of the season.
