The Williams driver struggled to extract the maximum performance out of the team's car last season, resulting in just one Q3 appearance compared to Alex Albon's seven.
Sargeant was responsible for only one of the Grove-based side's 28 points, which narrowly secured them seventh in the Constructors' Championship and, had it not been for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc being disqualified from the United States Grand Prix last season, the American would've ended his debut campaign without scoring a single point.
He has pulled out all the stops to ensure that he's ready for this year and is in the "best shape" of his life – including losing five kilos – leaving him confident that he will be able to extract the most from the FW46.

"I feel like a different man, to be honest," Sargeant told select media including RacingNews365.
"I feel like physically, I am in the best shape I've ever been in and very much changed my training regime to meet what I need to improve on and what I felt like was lacking most in the car last year, which I do believe was making a difference.
“I believe that in the condition I'm in now and will continue to get into will be simply just helping me feel more comfortable in the car and extract performance."
Sargeant now has a full season of knowledge behind him to focus on where he needs to improve physically and mentally to be competitive.
He added: "Finally having that break to actually do something about you know where I was physically and where I was mentally, it's just such a great opportunity for me to sort of reinvent myself and come back."
