Sergio Perez has conceded that he is still not feeling "super comfortable" in his Red Bull Formula 1 car, despite a respectable start to the season.
Perez has a pair of P2 finishes to his name behind team-mate Max Verstappen from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as Red Bull looks to be as far ahead with the RB20 as it was with the RB19 of 2023, although rival teams are hopeful of closing the gap.
Last time out in Saudi Arabia, Perez had a decent weekend, but felt a scrappy Friday qualifying had cost him a shot at a better race, with the Mexican still not entirely settled in the radical new RB20 machine.

"At the moment, the car is not super comfortable for me, but I understand a lot more how to maximise the performance," Perez told media including RacingNews365 before Saudi Arabia.
"So that is something that is quite good for us, and [in Bahrain], I didn't put it together.
"I should have been on the front row, you're talking about a tenth or so, so you are tidying things up in the race.
"We didn't have the right configuration with our set-ups and we're not great at looking after the tyre, so my race was basically against Carlos [Sainz] than against Max."
