Lando Norris has been transported to hospital following his crash four laps into the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver was running in P13 when he appeared to lose control at Turn 14 on the slippery track, causing him to impact the TecPro barrier and spear off into the runoff.

The team confirmed in a statement: "Following Lando’s incident earlier, he was transferred to the circuit Medical Centre and has now been taken to University Medical Center for further precautionary investigations."
