Mercedes has confirmed its plans regarding the launch of its 2026 F1 car as the new season ticks ever closer.
The W17 challenger will be shown through online renders for the first time on Thursday, January 22, making it the fourth team, as it stands, to show off the new car.
Only reigning champions McLaren has yet to declare the date for its car launch.
Mercedes ended the 2025 F1 season as runners-up in the standings, taking two race wins during the year with George Russell.
Its online launch will come just days before the car hits the track for the first pre-season test of the year in Barcelona, which will be held behind closed doors.
On February 2, Mercedes will conduct a formal season launch event with drivers, senior personnel and the W17 cars, which will be available to watch online.
Mercedes enters the upcoming year with Russell and Kimi Antonelli for the second successive year as F1 enters a new era under fresh technical regulations.
