With his 209th grand prix start at the Miami Grand Prix last weekend, Nico Hulkenberg found himself taking an unwanted Formula 1 record.
Throughout his career, which began in 2010, Hulkenberg has not managed to reach the top step of the podium, or even a place inside the top three
As a result, the German driver now holds the record for the most grands prix in F1 history without a race win.
After the Chinese Grand Prix, he already equalled Andrea de Cesaris' record which stood for some 30 years - but now the record is his own.
The question, however, is how long will it last? Hulkenberg will not depart the grid anytime soon as he will join Stake in 2025 on a multi-year deal ahead of its transition to Audi the following year.
With Audi setting high goals for its time in F1, could it offer Hulkenberg a chance to rid himself of the unwanted recognition?
