Horner sees no aerodynamic issues with Verstappen's Red Bull

Max Verstappen spun early during the first day of testing in Bahrain on Friday, but Christian Horner wasn't too worried by the incident.

Early on Friday morning Max Verstappen half spun his Red Bull RB16B across the track. Although the Dutchman was able to catch the car, it certainly didn't do him any favours in terms of his hard tyres. While the team's RB16 had aerodynamic issues last year, Horner didn't see any cause for concern given strong winds and sand made the session tricky. "I think it was just a gust of wind," he told RacingNews365.com and other members of the media. "Track conditions have been pretty tricky out there. Horner also added that he believes Verstappen was reasonably satisfied with the performance of the car. "I think Max has reported that he is reasonably happy with the car," Horner added. "There are obviously areas to tune, but no issues with the fundamentals."
