Antonio Felix da Costa has stressed that himself and Porsche are planning for "longevity" in their partnership, amid speculation that he could potentially be set for a departure.

Ahead of this weekend's inaugural Misano E-Prix, it was reported by The Race that Abt Cupra's Nico Müller has conducted a recent test for the Porsche factory outfit, in a huge mid-season shock.

Da Costa has endured a mixed start to Season 10 and initially failed to deliver, however, his pace and performances have improved considerably in recent races.

The Season 6 Champion was in contention for a podium in the most recent race in Tokyo and is expecting to perform well in Misano.

In terms of his future, da Costa recognises he started the season poorly but believes that himself and Porsche are not set to break their agreement.

"Honestly, at the moment, the plan is for longevity," da Costa told RacingNews365. "That's what we have agreed on.

"Yeah, look, it was a tough start to the season. Could we have managed it a little bit better, perhaps.

"But I think we're all professional, we're all grown ups and we should be able to fix everything."

When pressed on whether he believes he will remain a factory Porsche Formula E driver in Season 11, da Costa insisted that it would be the case, as long as everyone is on the same wavelength.

He added: "I mean, yeah, we just all need to be on the same page."
