Who is Bruno Famin?

Famin, with a technical background, started his career as a development engineer at Peugeot Sport in 1989. In 2005, he was promoted to technical director, leading to Peugeot's victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2009. Three years later, Famin was appointed director of the entire organization. In 2019, he left to work at the FIA as director of operations.

Bruno Famin as Team Principal of Alpine

In February 2022, Famin joined Alpine as head of the power unit program. In July 2023, he was promoted to vice president of Alpine, and since the Dutch Grand Prix of that year, he also serves as the team principal. Despite his leadership, Alpine achieved a disappointing sixth place in the constructors' championship, although Pierre Gasly secured a podium in Zandvoort.
