Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack has highlighted the importance of getting an initial sighting of the 2026 F1 regulations as soon as possible.
A new set of rules come into force in just under two years, with the aerodynamic and power unit regulations being redrafted.
The rules regarding the new engines have been confirmed for some time, with six manufacturers currently signed up for the new cycle.
The aerodynamic regulations, however, are still being worked on, with Krack expecting the first draft to be delivered to the teams in the coming months.
“There was a talk [in early March] where a lot of things were discussed,” Krack told media including RacingNews365. “I think the target is to have a full set of regulations by the end of June.”

Although teams will be able to view the regulations early, all wind tunnel and CFD work is prohibited until January 1, 2025.
Krack, however, asserted that key questions must be answered before teams begin development next year.
“We will move from there, probably they will not be fully complete,” Krack said. “But I think it's important to have regulations early because it's a big change for everybody.
“So we need to see, how are the weight targets? What is the architecture of the car? What is the tyre size? A lot of work is still being discussed, so we should not delay too much.”
