Alonso's name has been mentioned as a strong candidate to replace his former McLaren teammate, though he downplayed any talks with the Silver Arrows when speaking at Aston Martin's season launch.
But a picture posted to Instagram by Briatore, who is Alonso's manager, shows him sharing a drink with Wolff. Is this the beginning of negotiations, or simply a friendly chat?
