Alpine have provided an insight into the tests that are being carried out on their 2023 power unit.

In pursuit of performance, the French team suffered from reliability issues in 2022, and will be looking to rectify their finishing record for the new season.

The Enstone team released a video showing off their testing programme, which appears to involve a mock-up race car.

The video shows the 'dummy' race car fitted with various inlet and outlet pipes, likely to be used to replicate the power unit's operating conditions.
