Max Verstappen will be the first of the Red Bull drivers to drive the all-new RB16B during the official pre-season F1 test in Bahrain.
The test, which is scheduled between March 12-14, will be the only official pre-season test prior to the start of the 2021 F1 season. According to Dutch publication De Telegraaf, Verstappen will drive the car throughout Friday, March 12, with teammate Sergio Perez replacing him the following day. The drivers will share testing duties on the final day, with Perez driving in the morning session and Verstappen getting behind the wheel in the afternoon.
With travel restrictions still in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, all the F1 teams will have to contend with just three days of testing before the start of the season.
