After setting the pace on the opening day of Formula 1 pre-season testing on Thursday, Max Verstappen and Red Bull hit problems on Friday afternoon. Taking over the RB19 from teammate Sergio Perez for the evening shift, Verstappen was reportedly hampered by an oil leak. He returned to the garage and the team had the floor off to rectify the issue. The World Champion emerged back out on track, but has only logged 30 laps in the session - second fewest of all drivers with George Russell only doing 26 for Mercedes before a hydraulic failure ended his day with just over an hour remaining. In the running he did complete, Verstappen clocked a 1m:31.650s effort to go fastest.
