Max Verstappen and Red Bull take centre stage on Bernie Ecclestone's Christmas card

Like every year, Bernie Ecclestone has released a Christmas card with a nod to the past year of Formula 1.

Bernie Ecclestone has maintained his long-standing tradition of releasing a Christmas card that captures his perspective on the Formula 1 season, and this year's edition unsurprisingly focuses on Red Bull's internal turbulence.

The 95-year-old former F1 supremo's seasonal greeting features a striking image of former Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko and Red Bull GmbH CEO Oliver Mintzlaff positioned behind a smoking cannon aimed squarely at Christian Horner.

However, in typical Ecclestone fashion, the illustration shows Horner safely parachuting away with a substantial bag of money strapped to his back.

Accompanying the artwork, Ecclestone has penned his customary message reflecting on the year's events.

"This year marks the 75th anniversary of Formula 1," Ecclestone wrote. "I have never seen so many changes in the world and a few changes in Formula One. From 'goodbye Christian' to the overtaking race of Max, the best driver ever as far as I can remember."

The veteran F1 figure continues his assessment of the paddock's key figures: "Thanks to Zak, McLaren returned to days gone by, while Toto wakes up and Lewis struggles at a non-competitive team."

Ecclestone also takes aim at global politics, offering his characteristic blunt commentary on US President Donald Trump: "He rules the world without competition, apart from some men who lack an important body part. Well done Donald."

Looking ahead, Ecclestone strikes a somewhat ominous tone: "2026 will not be a peaceful year for Formula 1 and the world is also yearning for peace. So take some quiet days at the end of 2025. At age 95 and with a curious 5-year-old son, I won't be able to follow my own advice. Do your best in whatever it is you do."

The message concludes simply with his signature: "Bernie."
