Tickets touts have disrupted sales for F1 Live, an event orchestrated by the series to celebrate the 75th season of the championship, after it sold out rapidly.
Booked for 18 February 2025 at the O2 Arena in London, the all-new event will see the 10 team unveil their 2025 liveries, with all drivers and team principals in attendance.
In addition to interviews with key players from F1, there will be additional entertainment and special guest presenters, who are yet to be confirmed.
Tickets went on sale via O2 for between £58 and £113 - not including booking fees - and the expected high demand was met, with all available tickets sold after just 45 minutes of going on sale at 10:00 GMT on Friday, November 15.
However, it has quickly become apparent that ticket touts have managed to purchase a share of those available.
When RacingNews365 checked ticket site Viagogo, some tickets were on sale for as much as £1,955, with the cheapest ticket available for £220, a 279% increase on the original cheapest ticket price.
The issue of ticket touts has been brought to the fore in recent times, with the tours of high-profile acts such as Oasis and Taylor Swift subject to similar problems.
