FIA Sporting Director Steve Nielsen has left his role which oversees all of F1 sporting matters for the governing body.

RacingNews365 understands that Nielsen has left the role after being appointed in January this year.

He was a key figure in the FIA's reshuffle of their F1 structure for 2023, having been put in charge of improving the FIA's race control operations.

George Russell, who is head of the Grand Prix Drivers Association, has previously praised the work of Nielsen in consulting drivers on important sporting matters.

Nelson joined the FIA from Formula One Management (FOM) having previously held senior positions within Benetton, Renault, Toro Rosso, Lotus Renault, Honda, and Williams.

When FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem conducted a review of the governing body's internal procedures, a new structure was put in place which saw Nielsen reporting to Single-Seater Director Nikolas Tombazis.

The FIA did not respond when contacted for comment from RacingNews365.

Four years ago Horner claimed the sport is getting bored becauae Mercedes' Hamilton dominates for too long. He also influenced Massi to corrupt the game rule three years ago in Abu Dhabi. Horner now is happy and says nothing since their dominance. Christian Horner and Massi should be banned from the sports and imprisoned for long time. One is selfish and the other has leadership deficiency.

I see more BS about Abu Dhabi 2021 showing up here. People should read what the FIA said about that incident. I was cheering for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton that day and I hated the ending. But I did research the sporting regulations. especially 48.12 and 48.13 from that time. Those two regulations are the basis for what Michael Masi did. I have peace from that and I actually wish Michael Masi was still the RD. Neils Wittich is horrible and perhaps Nielsen got tired of working with him. Who knows? But Nielsen has built a support system around the F1 RD that never existed for Charlie Whiting or Michael Masi.

Let's admit once that Christianer Horner is manipulative and Michael Massi is insufficient for leadership role especially where costly decision is required. Massi on the other hand is inferior to Horner, English speaking man. English language speaking people feel or believe they are superior and hegimonious. Massi could face Toto squarely as both are foreigners to English. Horner believes he can square the circle as a corrupted English Man but something happened. F1 will remember what corrupted mind has done to the sports. So what's the point even watching it or becoming a spectacle to the sports?. Well, we were not born farely so fairness becomes illusion in English language. Play on.
