For the first time, Lando Norris has won a Formula 1 grand prix - at the 110th attempt, taking the chequered flag in the Miami Grand Prix.
He defeated Max Verstappen in a straight fight following a safety car restart, having emerged in the lead thanks to the fortunate timing after a crash for Logan Sargeant after being hit by Kevin Magnussen.
It is the 309th victory for a British driver in F1, with Norris the 21st Briton and 114th driver overall to claim a win.
He is the first Briton to do so since George Russell at the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Verstappen makes Perez damage claim
At the start, Verstappen maintained the lead, but was lucky to be able to continue following a near-miss from team-mate Sergio Perez who ran deep at Turn 1.
Perez made the lightest of contact with the rear of the sister RB20, which, following an off and bollard-strike at Turn 15 for Verstappen caused further floor and wing damage.

Magnussen nears race ban
It was a dreadful weekend for Kevin Magnussen as he picked up a total of 65 seconds worth of penalties, five penalty points and moved to the cusp of a race ban.
He picked up two more points in the race itself for the Sargeant collision - and means he must now drive carefully for just under a year until his next points come off in March 2025.

Sainz stripped of fourth
In a further penalty, Carlos Sainz lost his fourth place after contact late on with the McLaren of Oscar Piastri.
He was deemed wholly at fault by the stewards, earning a five-second time penalty and one penalty point.
The time penalty cost him his fourth place to Sergio Perez.
