Yuki Tsunoda will start the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix from the pit lane following his major crash on Saturday.
Tsunoda lost control of his Red Bull machine through the Turn 5/6 chicane during his first qualifying lap and had a major impact with the barrier, which flipped the car.
The Japanese driver was able to climb out of the car unaided and was cleared to compete in the race despite having no qualifying time to his name.
However, the extent of the repairs has meant Tsunoda will commence the grand prix from the pit lane.
Tsunoda has had his entire power unit replaced for the race as part of the service.
However, more significantly, the team was forced to carry out a survival cell change containing several components of a different specification.
While Tsunoda will take to the pit lane for the start of the race, team-mate Max Verstappen will line-up in second place alongside pole-sitter Oscar Piastri.
