Biography of F1 driver Jack Doohan
Jack Doohan made the transition from karting in Australia to single-seaters in 2018, starting with the British Formula 4 Championship. The Australian later also participated in the Italian Formula 4, ADAC Formula 4, and Asian Formula 3 Championships. Doohan then moved up to FIA Formula 3 in 2020, racing for the HWA Racelab team. In 2021, he switched to Trident, finishing second in the championship.
This progression led to his move to Formula 2, where Jack Doohan became part of Alpine's driver development program. In 2022, he finished sixth, and impressively, third in 2023. Consequently, the Australian became a Formula 1 reserve driver for Alpine in 2023, participating in several free practice sessions for the French team. With Esteban Ocon leaving the French team for Haas, Jack Doohan will make his debut during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2024 and has been confirmed as a driver for Alpine in 2025. However, after the Miami Grand Prix, the Australian was replaced by Franco Colapinto.
