Ford demand Horner investigation resolution

Ford CEO Jim Farley has reportedly sent Red Bull a letter voicing frustration over its handling of an investigation into Christan Horner.

The United States manufacturer is set to join forces with Red Bull Powertrains in 2026 when new technical regulations come into play.

Earlier this month, it emerged that Horner was under investigation after a colleague made allegations against the Red Bull Team Principal.

Horner has denied any wrongdoing, with reports suggesting that the Briton had been accused of sexual misconduct.

The Associated Press now writes that Ford has issued a letter to Red Bull in which Farley voiced being “increasingly frustrated” by the lack of resolution.

“As we have indicated previously, without satisfactory response, Ford’s values are non-negotiable,” Farley wrote in the letter.

“It is imperative that our racing partners share and demonstrate a genuine commitment to those same values. My team and I are available at any time to discuss this matter. We remain insistent on, and hopeful, for a resolution we can all stand behind.”

The letter added: “We are likewise frustrated by the lack of full transparency surrounding this matter with us, your corporate partners, and look forward to receiving a complete account of all findings.”

Horner was present at the RB20 car launch and in the F1 paddock earlier this week during pre-season testing, where he refused to comment on the situation.

Both Formula One Management, the commercial rights holder of the sport, and F1's governing body, the FIA, issued similar calls to Ford looking for a swift conclusion to the investigation.
